How Many Nicotine Shots Do You Need?

With the introduction of our new VAPEcom 100ml shortfills, you may be a bit confused as to how many nicotine shots are required.

Firstly, it is worth noting that shortfill e-liquids do not contain any nicotine. In 50ml bottles, there is normally enough space to add 1 nicotine shot whereas in 100ml bottles you will have enough space for 2 nicotine shots.

What are nicotine shots?

Nicotine shots are essentially unflavoured e-liquid, typically containing 18mg of nicotine. They are only used to mix into shortfill e-liquids.

How many nicotine shots do you need?

To achieve the following strengths in a 100ml bottle, follow the guide below:

• 1x18mg nicotine shot = 1.5mg
• 2x18mg nicotine shots = 3mg
• 3x18mg nicotine shots = 4.5mg
• 4x18mg nicotine shots = 6mg

How many nicotine shots does the average user use?

We have found that the average amount of nicotine shots used it enough to achieve 3mg overall. So, with 100ml bottles, that will be 2 nicotine shots.

Once you have added your nicotine shots, remember to shake the bottle very well. Allow it to stand until all of the air bubbles have disappeared.
